Unit 30 P1

The computer system and file storage For the computer system, buy an iMac 27inch 3.4GHz with a quad-core Intel Core i5 and comes with an 8 GB memory and a 1 terabyte hard drive for free. This costs around £1,800. This is the best kind of Mac as it has a large screen, it has good quality screen. And it is under warranty. For file storage, you should purchase a 2 terabyte external hard drive, as they are high capacity and you can take them wherever your work takes you. This would cost you about £130 to purchase. You will need to print off images that are of a high quality with no pixels, and for this you will need a top end printer To capture the images for the promotional packages for Kingswood, you will need a good camera. Cameras like the Cannon D700 are the best idea as this produces high quality images and good quality videos. Panasonic produce high quality cameras, and can be cheaper than Cannon cameras. You need a high quality scanner, such as the Epson GT-2500N Scanner. This scans up to 27 A4 pages per minute. It is high quality scanning - 1200 dpi / 48-bit for high colour reproduction and sharp details. Take advantage of the Text Enhancement feature - Reduce shadows and backgrounds from imperfect originals. There is no need for maintenance. You can use it to Email, Fax OCR, and Print. With this, this means that you don't need to buy a printer, and there isn't as much need to use Email on the Mac you'd like to purchase alongside this printer. This will cost £725. For picture paper, you would buy Kodak A4 Glossy Photo Paper. This will cost £3.83 per pack of 20 sheets. This is expensive, but is high quality. For the graphics tablet you will need a large screen and a big memory. The Cintiq Companion Hybrid with 32 GB memory storage. You can connect it to your laptop and develop and refine your artwork using traditional creative software such as Adobe Photoshop when you return to your studio. This will cost £1,999. I will need a vinyl cutter to cut out vinyl letters to make stickers for vehicles. We would need this for a company van. For this I would buy a PixMax 38x38cm heat press machine. This is exclusive to the website 'Monster Doodles', and will cost £600. For the vinyl cutter, I will need sheets of paper. For 100 sheets of the vinyl cutter specific paper, I will need to buy it off of the 'Monster Doodles' website again, and this will cost £15. Software: https://cdburnerxp.se/ I will use this software as it can easily burn CDs, DVDs and BlueRay discs. This software is free and is very good quality. Adobe Photoshop: this software is used to edit photos. The features include the ability to crop, change colours and format photos. You can also reshape, change/distort or combine to pictures together. A limitation would be it is quite difficult to use at first. This costs £49.99 a month, which is worth it as you can edit pictures and make all flaws disappear. Vector software: this lets you create vector. A vector is an image that is made up of points, lines and curves, and can be enlarged to any size, and no matter how much you enlarge them they still keep their high quality and do not show pixels. For this, you would need to buy Adobe Illustrator CS6 Mac Full Edition - Retail Box. This would cost around £420, but this is worth it as it is a one time. This will cost around £3,100.

ebi: you add other output devices like vinyl cutters or laser cutters explain why you would need them.
